Hi!
My name is Joost Haakman, born in Rotterdam in 1977. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. Especially in my younger years my grand father, who was an artist, stimulated me to practice as much as I can, so I would get the most out of my ‘talent’.
Nowadays I’m mostly inspired by my beautiful wife Lucia and my even more beautiful daughter Isis. Inspiration comes even from the smallest things, but I prefer things that have to do with nature. This is something that you will notice in the biggest part of my work.
I advise you to first take a look at ‘News’, in which I’ll show my latest work. I’ve devided my work into two sections: ‘Comics’ and ‘Illustrations’. So if you want to see everything all at once, these two items are the place to start.
