You got me thinking there for a moment about the carnivore/omnivore thing. I always assumed they are omnivores, but I don&#039;t remember where I got that knowledge from :-).</description>

		<description>I agree - and in any case I&#039;m wrong - bears are omnivores, so eating leaves would be right up his alley.  And the counterpoint is a good one, though the bear seems hesitant about the strawberry.  I think he still prefers his leaves.

I chose leaves because I needed something that would make those strawberries look even more appetizing. I think it worked out quit well. I&#039;m glad you like it!</description>

		<description>I love the second panel in particular, here - the bear offering Sem a leaf to eat is really just great (even though bears are carnivores and eat fish and other prey).  I immediately buy the scene and the gesture is just so great.  The page overall is really an excellent balance of dialogue and plain action.  Really nicely done!
