Een nieuwe vriend
Een beetje voorzichtig draaien Semmie en Beer om elkaar heen, je weet tenslotte nooit wat je kunt verwachten. Maar zodra de introducties voorbij zijn wordt er meteen gepraat over echt belangrijke dingen: Leuke dingen doen! Ben benieuwd wat voor leuke dingen ze zullen bedenken.
Vanaf het allereerste begin ben ik al van plan geweest om Beer te laten praten in icoontjes i.p.v. woorden, dat leek mij wel een leuke afwisseling op de standaard dialogen die je meestal tegen komt in strips. Ik moet zeggen dat het wel een heel positief effect heeft op de “look en feel” van deze pagina.
Graag hoor ik van jullie als lezers of de icoontjes de woorden die ze moeten uitbeelden wel duidelijk weergeven, suggesties zijn altijd welkom!

Thanks Tim! Ik ben erg blij dat het zo goed uitpakt, Semmie en Beer zullen heel wat “kleurrijke” conversaties hebben!
I’m surprised, I admit, that this page holds up as well as it does. It’s a sign that you’ve worked up a very consistent style. And I do think that the icons are a really interesting idea, and they read quite well as “nonverbal” communication, with the bear being intelligent, but just unable to actually speak. And if I note correctly, you seem to have pushed the colors up slightly. I wouldn’t go too much farther with that though, as I think they were pretty well balanced to begin with!
Overall, the development is excellent, and even though I’ve seen these before, they fit into the rest of the story seamlessly.

Thanks man! I’m glad you like it! I sometimes think Bear is way more intelligent than Semmie, so I’m making that clear with the icons.
I’m also glad you mentioned the colors, I am trying to improve my coloring skills and can get caried away a bit. Another thing is that I’ve noticed that on some monitors the colors of my pages look far brighter or saturated then they look on my own monitor. I am not quite sure if that is because my own monitor displays them wrong or these others do. So if you see any colors that just look “off” please let me know!
